Multi NDT Technician (with or without Rope Access)

Job Title: Multi NDT Technician (with or without Rope Access)

Type: Contract

Location: Malongo, Angola

Work Pattern: Position is shared on a rotational 28/28 schedule

Position Summary:

Reports to the site supervisor/ superintendent, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable day-to-day
NDT inspection job for our client in Angola and West Africa. Corrosion monitoring/ mapping, report
writing, communication, safety, NDT inspection and corrosion monitoring for pipes, structures,
vessels, tanks, raisers, etc are integral part of the job.

Description and Responsibilities:

• NDT Inspection using Ultrasonics, Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Liquid/ Dye Penetrant
  and Eddy Current Techniques.
• Prepare and present inspection report.
• Plant Inspection.
• Perform any other task as directed by the client.
• Use of Rope Access wherever necessary.

Safety

• Ensure that safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to in order to ensure
  a safe working environment.
• Actively participate in safety meetings, and tool box talks as required by client.
• Ensure that Radiation Safety procedures are adhered to at all times, and that required
  documentation is kept updated.

Other

• Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
  Systems.
• Perform assigned tasks with due diligence.
• Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly
  substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Selection Criteria

Qualification – PCN or CSWIP certificates are preferred to third party ASNT certificates.

• PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - RT – Level 2 – Radiographic Testing (Essential)
• PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - UT – Level 2 – Ultrasonic Testing (Essential)
• PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - ET – Level 2 – Eddy Current Testing (Preferred)
• PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - MT – Level 2 – Magnetic Particle Testing (Preferred)
• PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - PT – Level 2 – Dye/ Liquid Penetrant Testing (Preferred)
• Third Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering
  Certification, and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire
  this position.

Experience -

• Min 5 years solid experience in NDT Inspection in Oil and Gas Industry.
• Min 5 years experience in corrosion monitoring/ mapping.
• Radiographic Interpretation and UT TKY are a plus.
