HSE Inspector - Malaysia

The responsibilities of HSE Inspector position will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitor HSE quality culture at the project site.
  • Verify all the HSE activities and performances carried out by the CONTRACTOR.
  • Maintain records on HSE related incidents (LTI, near miss, unsafe act, etc.), meetings and briefings.
  • To report any HSE problems/issues to HSE Officer or QA Engineer.
  • Areas of works may include:
    a) Tank and vessel fabrication and installation
    b) Pipe fabrication and assembly
    c) Piping alignment to equipment/machinery
    d) Installation of temporary strainers
    e) Installation of proper lubrications
    f) Cleanliness of lubrication system
    g) Machinery run-in
    h) Insulation application
    i) Orifice checking
    j) Surface preparation and coating
    k) Observance and enforcement of safe working practices.
  • Maintain records of use of the approved procedures, rejections and corrective actions.
  • Ensure safety standards and requirements are observed and bring policy matters to attention of superiors.

Requirements HSE Inspector

  • Possess at least 3 years experience in oil & Gas facilities.
  • Experience at least 2 projects for Oil Company.
  • Diploma / High School.
  • Qualified and have valid SHO certificate such as from DOSH / NIOSH.

Terms & Conditions HSE Inspector

  • Preferably male
  • 6 months primary + 6 months extension (option).
