Job summary
Swift Worldwide Resources is looking for an E&I Inspector to work on a 28X28 rotation in Soyo, Angola.


Job Purpose

The E&I Inspector is responsible for the construction quality oversight activities in assigned construction areas ensuring that they are performed in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the project contract, drawings and specifications.

The E&I Inspector will ensure continuous and progressive training of assigned personnel.

Ensure that all electrical and instrumentation is installed as per project specifications procedures and international codes and standards.


Job Responsibilities

Perform daily and weekly quality checks and reporting on contractors' work activities related to electrical and instrumentation installations.

Witness quality checks and tests prior to acceptance and turnover from contractor.

Ensure Company and contractor HES policies are enforced on the work site.

Monitor the EPC contractor's and subcontractors' electrical and instrumentation quality programs and processes and ensures conformance to contract technical requirements.

Supervise, mentor, and train junior level PMT quality inspectors.


Requirements

A minimum of 10-15 years experience performing electrical and instrumentation inspection in QA/QC environment

In-depth knowledge of DCS/MCC Systems, Low, Medium and High Voltage equipment and terminations, knowledge of instruments and controls up to and including loop checking

The ability to interpret drawings, codes and standards and apply that to field inspections, surveillance and audits of electrical and instrument applications


Must have construction experience!
