Position: Senior Contract Analyst

Report to: Procurement and Contracts Manager

Qualification, Skills & Knowledge Required For This Position

* Preferred local candidates and must have an experience in oil & gas industry

* Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration or commercial related field.

* 10 years experience in contract/ commercial related functions.

* Knowledge in Petroleum industry and E&P activities.

* Good commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

* Good command of both spoken and written English.

* Computer knowledge and common business software.

Accountabilities

* Contract Section, facilitates and involves in bidding process from the beginning, learning the needs; scope of work; tender preparation; call for tender process; commercial evaluation and negotiation, up to final contract documentation and approval. Mostly focus on procurement of materials and services with great amount of value and high complexity in scope of work.

* The function also participates and represents Company in commercial negotiation of major contracts and assists users in dealing with contractors in case of disagreement/ disputes.

* Ensure all MSR (Material and Service Request) are handled without any delay.

* Assist user to monitor the balance of ACV and the remaining of contract period.

* Ensure the new contract or renewal contract had been signed prior to activate the service from contractor.

* The jobholder coordinates and controls activities of Contract Team. Also assists line management in preparing and monitoring work program and budget; develops Company’s standard contracts as well as general terms and conditions; recommends improvements to internal systems and procedures; study and propose new contract methods/ strategies.

* As Senior Analyst, Contract, the jobholder has to review and ensure all activities of subordinate are in compliance with JOCA, JOA, PSC, CPOC and MTJA rules and regulations as well as best international procurement practices.

* The jobholder reports to Manager, Procurement and Contracts.
